This is the perfect rifle for training young children with or even just to own for ones self. I even still have the leather scabbard for and it is used quite often as well. My guess is that every red blooded boy that saw the movie dreamed about being Steve McQueen. From my experience most movies that enjoy a remake were good the first time around. It was recreated in 2016 staring Chris Platt ( I guess he ran out of dinosaurs to hunt).
I have never seen the original movie but I bet it was good. Every American kid that had 69 cents and could get to a movie theater to see the Magnificent Seven did.
